The New Zealand Baptist Mission Fellowship (BMF) exists to provide prayer, encouragement and financial support to the NZ Baptist Missionary Society, and help foster mission interest amongst our church families.

The motto of BMF is "You also helping together by prayer" (2 Corinth.1:11). Every month, in Baptist churches across New Zealand, those involved in BMF meet together to pray for the work of God's mission in our world, and for those who are serving overseas. BMF has existed in New Zealand for over 100 years, and we are encouraged to keep praying by the stories and accounts of amazing answers to prayer.

Each November BMF members and mission-minded people gather for BMF Day. This is an inspiring time of celebration, thanksgiving, fellowship and hearing updates of how God has been working in our mission fields through the NZBMS staff.

BMF also takes up a special offering each year which raises funds for a specific project within the work of NZBMS. Over recent years this offering has been well supported and has enabled valuable work to be done.

BMF is a separately governed body with an executive team and National President elected by its constituency every two years. Its Annual General Meeting is ordinarily held in November as part of the broader BMF day.

Further information on BMF can be obtained via the NZBMS office.
